Welcome to your ✨Monday Moment✨

Take a deep breath in. Hold it. Exhale.
Pick a colour 🔴 🟠 🟡 🟢 🔵 🟣
Find the moment below with that same colour, then go to the closing moment at the end.
🔴 Take a moment to learn which fruit and vegetables are in season in June. In the Northern Hemisphere, it’s the perfect time to enjoy delicious stone fruits, berries and melons, while in the Southern Hemisphere it’s a great time to stock up on nutrient-rich root vegetables.
🟠 Take a moment to relax with a simple doodling exercise. First, take a deep breath in, pause for a moment, and slowly exhale. Then grab a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Write the word JUNE in capital letters across the centre of the page. Next, use each letter in JUNE as a point for another JUNE written vertically. Your page should begin to look a bit like a word puzzle or crossword. Keep going by adding more JUNEs wherever you can, linking them to letters you’ve already written. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Alternatively, simply write the word JUNE as many times as you like in different directions across the page. For the next few moments, focus only on the letters, the shapes and the movement of your hand. Let everything else wait.
🟡 Take a moment to learn about some of the days observed in June: Global Parents Day (1st), World Ocean Day (8th), International Day of Play (11th), World Refugee Day (20th) and the Day of the Seafarer (25th), to name just a few. Know of any others? Pop them in the comments below. And of course, the whole month of June is also celebrated internationally as Pride Month.
🟢 Take a moment to ponder this quote from the beloved American nature writer and conservationist, Sigurd F. Olson: “June is when earth feels like a child in a magnificent toy shop.” What do you think he meant?
🔵 Take a moment to think of who you know with a June birthday. June spans two star signs. Those born up to and including 20th June are Gemini, often described as curious, adaptable and excellent communicators. Those born from 21st June onwards are Cancer, often associated with loyalty, intuition and a nurturing nature.
🟣 Take a moment to learn about the name June. This elegant, vintage name means “follower of Juno”, the Roman goddess of marriage, protection and fertility. Associated with warmth, growth and new beginnings, the name perfectly reflects the spirit of early summer.
A closing moment to take another deep breath together. Hold it, feel it, and gently exhale. As June begins, it offers us a chance to reset. Leave behind what no longer serves you and make space for new possibilities. June is a month of longer days, growth and new beginnings. Take a moment to think about what you’d like more of this month. Set a goal, plan something to look forward to, or simply give yourself permission to start afresh. So, what will June bring you?

Your thoughts and comments are always welcome; this is a safe space. If this helped you today, consider passing it along to a friend who might need it.
