Welcome to your ✨Monday Moment✨

Take a deep breath in. Hold it. Exhale.
Pick a colour 🔴 🟠 🟡 🟢 🔵 🟣
Find the moment below with that same colour, then go to the closing moment at the end.
🔴 Take a moment to take a bunny breath (yes, it’s a thing!) for a gentle boost of energy and an emotional reset. Sit tall, relax your shoulders, and let your tongue drop from the roof of your mouth. Time to embrace your inner bunny. Close your mouth and gently scrunch your nose. Take 3–4 quick sniffs in through your nose like a bunny, then slowly exhale through your nose (or your mouth if that feels more comfortable). Repeat a few times for a little boost and reset. For an added smile, give your nose a wiggle at the end 🐰
🟠 Take a moment to learn about the origin of this year’s Super Bowl half-time artist, Bad Bunny’s name. As a child, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio once had to wear a bunny costume for an Easter school event. His mum took a photo on the day, and he looked far from impressed. Later, when he became a music artist, he chose “Bad Bunny” as a stage name, thinking it would be memorable and easy to market since you don’t often come across a bad bunny (other than the one in the photo that his mum took), and it definitely seems to have worked for him.
🟡 Take a moment to learn a little about the iconic Bugs Bunny. A version of him first popped up in the late 1930s alongside Porky Pig, but the carrot-chomping, wisecracking bunny we know today officially hopped onto our screens in 1940. His cheeky personality was inspired by the humour of Groucho Marx, and even his famous carrot snacking is said to have been influenced by Clark Gable munching on a carrot in the film It Happened One Night.
🟢 Take a moment to learn that baby rabbits are not technically called bunnies – their correct terms are kits or kittens. The word “bunny” is a familiar nickname rather than a scientific name. It is believed to come from the Scottish word bun or bunn, which was used as a term for a rabbit. Over time, “bunny” became a popular affectionate word, especially when referring to young or small rabbits.
🔵 Take a moment to step back into the 1950s and learn about the dance craze known as the Bunny Hop. The story goes that it began with students at Balboa High School in San Francisco, California, who came up with the cheerful, hopping steps as a social ice breaker. When bandleader Ray Anthony heard about the dance, he created a song to match it, and soon dance floors were filled with people lining up and hopping along together. A simple, joyful reminder of how music and movement can bring people together 🐰🎶
🟣 Take a moment to think of at least three bunny characters from films, TV, or books – other than Bugs Bunny. What comes to mind first? Perhaps a childhood favourite or a story that makes you smile?
A closing moment to take another deep breath together.
Hold it, feel it, and gently exhale. Am I going to somehow find a meaningful connection between bunnies and life? Of course I am! Bunnies are joyful little souls; they even have their own version of happy-zoomies called binkying. They rest when they’re tired, nibble healthy snacks, and enjoy hanging out with other bunnies. Whatever this week brings, find your inner bunny and hop towards your happy!

Your thoughts and comments are always welcome; this is a safe space. Please share this bunny moment with anyone who will enjoy it to help spread the good vibes far and wide.
