Welcome to your ✨Monday Moment✨

Take a deep breath in. Hold it. Exhale.
Pick a colour 🔴 🟠 🟡 🟢 🔵 🟣
Find the moment below with that same colour, then go to the closing moment at the end.
🔴 Take a moment to take a mental storage break. Relax your shoulders and drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Rub your hands together briefly, then rest them in your lap. As you slowly inhale through your nose, imagine walking through the storage centre inside your mind. Notice the colours, hear the sounds, and sense the air around you. Hold your breath for a moment as you look at everything you’re storing. Now exhale slowly through your mouth, as if blowing out a candle. Imagine a strong gust of fresh air sweeping through – lifting the dust, clearing away unnecessary clutter, and revealing open space for something new.Repeat whenever you feel the need to clear your mind.
🟠 Take a moment to learn about how it is suggested that unresolved emotions can possibly manifest into physical symptoms:
- Loss of control ~ Headaches
- Burdens and responsibilities ~ Neck and shoulder aches
- Grief or unexpressed sadness ~ Heart and chest ache
- Loss of self ~ Insomnia
- Fear of instability or uncertainty ~ Lower back pain
- Anxiety or emotional trauma ~ Stomach ache
This information is not intended to replace medical advice. Please consult a qualified medical professional if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, while also considering the potential emotional factors that may contribute.
🟡 Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the standard units of computer storage, listed from smallest to largest: byte (B), kilobyte (KB), megabyte (MB), gigabyte (GB), terabyte (TB), petabyte (PB), exabyte (EB), zettabyte (ZB), and yottabyte (YB). To give you some context, a byte might store a single character of text or a tiny black-and-white image, while a yottabyte remains largely theoretical – we have yet to accumulate that much digital information, but I bet it won’t be long until we do!
🟢 Take a moment to think of the most outrageous alternatives for storing everyday items. What unusual (and completely impractical 🙃) containers could you use to store things like coffee, eggs, bread, or pens?
🔵 Take a moment to contemplate this quote from Courtney Carver, “If you have to buy stuff to store your stuff, you may have too much stuff.”
🟣 Take a moment to think about what foods you think last longest in storage when stored properly in airtight containers. One of the list toppers is honey. Due to its high sugar content and low moisture, properly stored honey can technically last indefinitely. The oldest known stored honey dates back 5,500 years and was found in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2003.
A closing moment to take another deep breath together. Hold it, feel it, and gently exhale. Storage can be a blessing and a curse. It helps us hold on to what nourishes us – supplies, memories, comfort, and connection. But when we store too much, it can take up precious space and weigh us down. The secret to storage is balance: knowing what to keep, what to let go of, and always leaving room for what comes next.

📦 Your thoughts and comments are always welcome; this is a safe space. Feel free to share this storage moment with anyone who will enjoy it. Don’t forget to sign up to get your free ✨Monday Moment✨ every week straight to your inbox.
