🔴 Take a moment to spread your wings. Stand up, relax your shoulders, drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth. Take a deep breath in as you spread your wings out wide, lifting your chest to the sky. Hold it for a moment as you look up. Now exhale slowly and completely and as you bring your wings down to wrap around you tightly. Hold for a moment and repeat the breath cycle. Do this anytime you need to gain some strength and courage.
🟠 Take a moment to think back to the first time you felt like you were truly spreading your wings. How old were you? Do you remember how you felt at the time?

🔵 Take a moment to imagine you had wings. What would they look like? What colour(s) would they be? Where would you fly to first?
🟣 Take a moment to list at least four animals, besides birds, that have wings. One animal can have up to 80,000 feathers packed tightly to provide insulation, making them the most densely feathered of all. Do you know which one?
A closing moment to take another deep breath together. Hold it… feel it… and gently exhale. Spreading our wings can mean many things, from embracing change and finding our courage to simply allowing ourselves to grow. In whatever way it shows up for you this week, trust that each stretch brings you closer to your fullest self. So spread those wings and soar.
