🟡 Take a moment to think of at least three of your closest friends. If you could choose a meal that perfectly represents each of them, what would it be and why?
🟢 Take a moment to think about some of your childhood friends. Do you remember the first time you met? What did you love to do together? Are you still friends with any of them today?
🔵 Take a moment to think about the most recent friend you made. What brought you together? What did you first talk about? When will you see them next?
🟣 Take a moment to think of a friend who makes you feel calm. Next time you are feeling stressed, close your eyes, take a deep breath and think of that friend. As you exhale hear their voice, see their face and think about what they would say to calm you.
A closing moment to take another deep breath together. Hold it. Exhale. Friends are among life’s greatest blessings, whether they’ve been by your side for a lifetime or are someone you just met but feel like you’ve known forever. They are the anchors that tether us in a storm and the wind in our sails when we need to move forward. Take time this week to reach out to your friends, even if just to say hello and see how they are doing. You never know how much it might mean to them and the boost it will give you in return.
