Welcome to your ✨Monday Moment✨

Take a deep breath in. Hold it. Exhale.
Pick a colour 🔴 🟠 🟡 🟢 🔵 🟣
Find the moment below with that same colour, then go to the closing moment at the end.
🔴 Take a moment to think about the most logical person you know. In what kinds of situations are they the best friend to have by your side? What could you learn from them?
🟠 Take a moment to ponder the quote of logic by Albert Einstein, “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere” Do you agree with him? What do you think he meant when he said this?
🟡 Take a moment to learn a little about the concept of logical cooking. This approach helps chefs create dishes that meet the highest standards of taste, temperature, and presentation. At its core, the process is simple but so easily overlooked: prepare the ingredients, cook them with care, season thoughtfully, allow the food to rest, and finally, plate it beautifully. Logical, isn’t it?
🟢 Take a moment to consider what being a logical person means to you. Do you see yourself as logical? When do you find it most useful – or even necessary – to be logical, and when might it be less important?
🔵 Take a moment to do a quick meditation. Sit comfortably, relax your shoulders, and straighten your posture. Slowly breathe in, counting 1. Exhale slowly, counting 1. Breathe in again, this time counting 1, 2. Exhale, counting 2, 1. On the next breath, inhale counting 1, 2, 3, and exhale counting 3, 2, 1. Continue to add a number with each breath cycle. If a thought pops into your mind, simply acknowledge it without judgment and gently start your count over at 1. When you reach a count of 7, stop and return to your normal breathing. Take a moment here, just being still.
🟣 Take a moment to do a quick logical thinking puzzle. Each of the five neighbourhood dogs (Sabre, Ginger, Nutmeg, Pepper, and Bear) is enjoying one of the following activities: getting its ears scratched, playing catch, taking a nap, burying a chew toy, and going for a walk. Figure out which each dog is doing. The answer can be found after the closing moment image below.
- Bear is getting some exercise.
- Pepper is either playing catch or burying a chew toy.
- Neither Ginger nor Sabre nor Bear is on a walk.
- One of the dogs named after a spice is getting its ears scratched.
- A dog not named for a spice is playing catch.
A closing moment to take another deep breath together. Hold it. Exhale. In simple terms, logic is the study of reasoning; a system of principles that helps us use reason to determine whether a conclusion is true or false, and sometimes whether it’s good or bad. It’s important to remember that in any moment, we’re all doing our best to make good choices based on the information we have. So be kind to yourself and those around you as we navigate life’s challenges, doing our best to approach them with logic and understanding.

🧩 Logic puzzle answer: Saber is taking a nap, Ginger is getting her ears scratched, Nutmeg is going for a walk, Pepper is burying a chew toy, and Bear is playing catch.
