Welcome to your ✨Monday Moment✨

Take a deep breath in. Hold it. Exhale.
Pick a colour 🔴 🟠 🟡 🟢 🔵 🟣
Find the moment below with that same colour, then go to the closing moment at the end.
🔴 Take a moment to think about what foods you can happily eat standing up and which you absolutely cannot and should not.
🟠 Take a moment to listen to any version of the song, “Get Up, Stand Up” written by Bob Marley & Peter Tosh. How does it make you feel? What do you think the lyrics mean? What other songs remind you of standing up for something important to you? Let me know in the comments.
🟡 Take a moment to look around the room and see how many stands you can see. What items cannot stand up without being supported by something else?
🟢 Take a moment to empower your stance within. Take a deep breath in and exhale completely out. Stand up tall – whether you do it physically or in your mind is up to you. Take a deep breath in and feel your spine lengthen and your chin lift. Place your hands on your hips and puff out your chest. As you hold the breath at the top of the inhale, think about what matters most to you. What do you stand for? Where can you feel it as you think about it? As you exhale feel that sensation spread throughout your body as if recharging you right into your core. Once again inhale, lift your chin, puff out your chest and focus on what matters most to you. Where do you feel it? This time as you exhale, feel the sensation radiate from your core to the world around you. Repeat this anytime you need to remind yourself of what you stand for and your power within.
🔵 Take a moment to think back to your childhood. Who or what did you stand up for? And who stood up for you? (and yes, standing up for yourself absolutely counts)
🟣 Take a moment to ponder the quote by Mark Amend, “Be strong enough to stand alone, be yourself enough to stand apart but be wise enough to stand together when the time comes.”
Take another deep breath. Hold it. Exhale. Smile. As you go through this week, remember that standing up can always offer a change of perspective, literally and figuratively. Sitting in the same place for too long is never good for our mind or body. So get up, stand up, and see what you can see.
